富雅各廣場開幕禮 open ceremony of Hoover Square

to remember a missionary, a westerner who help the development of the early Sibu town. James Hoover was a pioneer of Sibu, helping the Foochow and the church on the way. the Hoover Square is a place to remind and remember what he has done for us.
富雅各是詩巫早期發展的急先峰.雖然是一名西方宣教士,對詩巫和教會的成長卻功不可沒.這個廣場就是要紀念他在這里的功績.

Chinese Methodist Message's Chief Editor Wong Meng Lei was praised by the minister Wong Soon Koh for his good work. Meng Lei's smile told us how he felt at that moment.
