在今日城市建築背景襯托下,廈門街顯得格外古老. the old amoy road houses against the modern buildings of Sibu.
推著三輛車,在這個地區顯得非常相稱,彷彿時光倒流,回到當年的生活狀況. cycling his cart, this man's work, is just like the old days.
現在居住在這里的多是來自鄉區的土著.nowadays, the villagers lives here, mostly local natives.

amoy road was first built in 1948 by 2 Hokkien brothers, who built 2 rolls wooden houses at the swampy land for the need of the Hokkien.
because of the dialect of the residents, the road that gradually came into existence got its name.
